Equipment and Ingredients:

  • Bourbon/ Rye Whiskey/Scotch

    Chambord Liquor/Sweet Vermouth

    Amaretto

    Orange Bitters & Angostura Bitters

    Fresh Orange

    Filthy Cherries

    Simple Syrup

    Infused Syrup** MAKE IN ADVANCE - RECIPE BELOW

    Mixing glass

    Jigger/Measuring spoons

    Tall, thin spoon

    Peeler

    Strainer/Tea strainer

    Rocks glass/

    ***Optional substitutions

    Recommendations: Smokey Scotch for the Godfather, Spicy Rye for the Manhattan, Any Bourbon for the Old Fashioned

    RX+: THE GODFATHER: For QUALITY, Not Time.

    2oz Scotch

    .5oz Amaretto

    2Dashes Orange Bitters

    Add all ingredients into mixing glass with ice, stir

    Strain into rocks glass with big ice cube - Garnish with Orange peel

    ***Substitutions: Rye Whiskey for Scotch

    RX: Pecan, Rosemary, Cinnamon OLD FASHIONED: Ladder: Build to heavy set. Rest as needed.

    2oz Bourbon

    1Barspoon simple/infused syrup

    4Dashes Orange/Ango Bitters mix

    Add all ingredients into mixing glass with ice, stir

    Strain into rocks glass with big ice cube - Garnish with Orange peel

    ***INFUSED SYRUP RECIPE: Add 1 Cup Sugar into 1 Cup water into saucepan over low heat, Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 1 Cinnamon stick, 4 sprigs of Rosemary and a handful of Pecan/Walnuts into syrup. Let simmer for 30 minutes. Strain syrup, bottle and ENJOY. ***Keep refrigerated.

    SCALED: FRENCH MANHATTAN: For Time Complete: 2Rounds, Rest 1Min, 2Rounds:

    2oz Rye Whiskey

    1oz Chambord/Sweet Vermouth

    2Dashes Orange/Ango Bitters

    ***Substitutions/Scales: Use .5oz sweet vermouth and .5 dry vermouth in place of 1oz Chambord/Sweet Vermouth for a PERFECT MANHATTAN
