#MayGoals Challenge WOD 1

Thursday drinks class:

There is a lot going on in this class! I wanted to give a lot of options for people on this one so please encourage people to read the drinks carefully so they can decide which they want to make. I don't want people to think they have to buy ALL of these ingredients, it is a lot! However, this should be a super fun one! There is something for everyone :)

EQUIPMENT & INGREDIENTS:

Bourbon/Rye Whiskey

Gin/Vodka/Tequila

Rum

Orange Liqueur

Coffee Liqueur

*Creme De Cocoa (Dark) optional but recommended

*Baileys Irish Cream optional

WhiteClaw mix pack

1Lager/Kolsch

1Pale Ale

Cream of coconut

Coconut milk/Regular milk

Vanilla Ice-Cream

Sugar/Simple Syrup*

Maple Syrup

Honey

Lemon Juice

Lime juice

Orange Juice

Hot Sauce e.g. Tabasco (Any hot sauce will work)

Chili powder to rim glass / Alternatively use salt

Thyme (Infuse simple syrup with thyme - either on stove top for 25min/put fresh thyme into ready made syrup for 12hours+)

Fresh/frozen Mango/Raspberries/Strawberries/Mixed berries/pineapple

Pineapple juice

Blender

Shaking Tin

Muddler

Jigger

Peeler

Long Spoon

Strainer

Martini/Rocks Glass/Beer glass

RX+: BUSHWACKER

Ingredients:

2Cups Ice

2oz Dark Rum

2oz Cream of Coconut

2oz Coffee Liqueur e.g. Kalua

*1oz Creme De Cocoa (Dark) optional but recommended

*1oz Baileys Irsish Cream optional

2Cups Vanilla Ice-Cream or any flavor you desire

2oz Dark Rum/151 Rum For Floater

MAKES 2 SERVINGS

Instructions:

Add all ingredients, except ice-cream and rum floater into the blender. Blend until finely chopped. Add ice-cream, blend until smooth. Add ice if needed. Pour into parfait glasses and top with rum floater. Garnish with cherry. Enjoy

RX: REDNECK WHITECLAW SLUSHIES: 3VERSIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:

  1. Raspberry/Strawberry claw slushie:

Ingredients:

1 Raspberry whiteclaw

Handful frozen/fresh raspberries/strawberries

3oz Vodka/Gin (Gin is preferred)

1oz Lemon juice

.750z Maple syrup

1Cup ice

Instructions:

Add all ingredients into blender, Blend - add ice if needed. Garnish with fresh berry/mint sprig.

  1. BlueBerry Lemon Claw Slushie:

Ingredients:

1 Lemon whiteclaw

Big Handful frozen/fresh Blueberries

3oz Vodka/Gin/Rum

2oz Lemon juice

2oz Thyme infused Simple Syrup

1Cup ice

Instructions:

Add all ingredients into blender, Blend - add ice if needed. Garnish with lemon wheel and Thyme sprig.

  1. How Te-quil-a-Mango:

Ingredients:

1 Mango whiteclaw

Handful frozen/fresh mango chunks (Use one whole mango if fresh)

3oz Tequila (Jalapeno infused for a spicy version)

2oz Trip. Sec/Cointreau

1.5oz Orange Juice

1oz Lime

1oz Maple Syrup/Honey

2Dashes Hot sauce (e.g. Tabasco)

Chili powder/Salt to rim glass

1.5Cups ice

Instructions:

Rim glass in chili powder - Add all ingredients into blender, Blend - add ice if needed. Garnish with lime wheel.

SCALED: BEER KNEES:

Ingredients:

2oz Gin

1oz Lemon juice

.5oz Honey Syrup

4oz Lager/Kolsch

Instructions:

Add all ingredients, except for the beer into shaking tin - Shake with ice, strain into glass over ice. Top with brew and garnish with lemon wheel. Enjoy

SCALED2: BOURBON MAPLE FIZZ:

Ingredients:

2oz Bourbon

.5-1oz Maple Syrup

2oz Orange Juice

1oz Lime juice

4oz Pale Ale

Instructions:

Add all ingredients, except for the beer into shaking tin - Shake with ice, strain into glass over ice. Top with brew and garnish with orange twist. Enjoy.

#MayGoals Challenge

Award yourself points for meeting each daily goal throughout the month of May in the following categories:

  • Consume 800 grams of fruits and veggies daily - no other dietary changes required! (Why 800g?)
  • Get 7-9 hours of sleep each night
  • Drink at least 64 ounces of water per day
  • Spend at least 1 hour outside
  • Complete our daily workout programming

We will also be releasing a "Challenge" WOD each week on Thursday. You will have until the following Monday to complete it. Each Challenge WOD will be worth 5 points.
