Bone Broth 101

We are having a Girls Night Out on Friday, October 20 at 6pm (but come anytime!) at The Hall on 1701 N. Franklin st. in The Heights! It's a new-ish food hall with different cuisines and drinks! We will meet there, grab some snacks and drinks and hang out! Please feel free to bring a friend!

What's the deal with Bone Broth? (using pasture raised, grass fed beef bones)

  • It's been around for centuries by cultures around the world to remedy many ailments
  • Soothes stomach aches and heals the gut
  • Alleviates joint pain because it contains chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine (you'd pay big bucks for these in supplement stores)
  • Source of minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium
  • Rich in amino acids like glycine and proline we can't get from muscle meat
  • Contains collagen which we need for our connective tissue, hair, skin, and nails.

Starting tomorrow we will be selling jars of pasture-raised, grass fed beef bone broth for $8 each (made by yours truly). This is an inexpensive way to up your nutrient game! You can drink it plain, or add it as a stock for soup, or cook your veggies or starches in it. Use it within 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze it in an ice cube tray for up to a year.
